SHIPPING POLICY

Processing Times
Orders are prepared and handed over to the courier within 2–4 working days following confirmation of payment.

Processing times for unique, personalised or made-to-order pieces may differ from the standard timeframe. The applicable processing time will be stated on the product page, communicated during the ordering process or confirmed directly to the customer.

Couriers and Delivery Times
Orders are shipped through express couriers selected for their reliability and experience in handling fragile items.

Estimated delivery times, calculated from the date on which the order is handed over to the courier, are:

Italy: 10–20 working days;
Europe: 14–17 working days;
rest of the world: 17–35 working days.

These delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, time of year, product availability, customs procedures and circumstances beyond the direct control of OVU S.r.l.

Customers will be notified of any significant delays or changes.

Packaging
Each OVO DESIGN piece is individually packed using high-density protective materials.

Sculptures, particularly fragile products and large ceramic items are protected with reinforced packaging suited to the characteristics of the product.

Damage During Transit
If the parcel shows visible signs of damage upon delivery, the customer is advised to accept it subject to a specific written reservation, describing the damage on the courier’s delivery document or electronic device.

Before opening the parcel, customers should photograph the outer packaging, including any dents, openings or alterations. After unpacking, photographs should also be taken of the damaged product and the internal protective materials.

Customers are requested to retain all original packaging and contact OVU S.r.l. within 48 hours of delivery by writing to ovo@ovodem.com and providing the relevant order number.

Notification within 48 hours enables us to submit and manage the claim with the courier promptly. However, it does not constitute a limitation period and does not affect the customer’s statutory consumer rights.

Once the damage has been confirmed, OVU S.r.l. will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with the remedies and conditions established by applicable law.

Transfer of Risk
When shipping is arranged by OVU S.r.l., the risk of loss of or damage to the product remains with the seller until the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the courier, takes physical possession of the product.

If the courier is independently selected by the customer and that choice was not offered by OVU S.r.l., the risk transfers to the customer when the product is handed over to the courier, without prejudice to the the customer’s rights against the courier.

International Shipping, Customs Duties and Taxes
For shipments to countries outside the European Union, any customs duties, import taxes and additional charges imposed by the authorities of the destination country shall be borne by the recipient.

These amounts are not included in the product price or shipping costs unless expressly stated otherwise during the purchasing process.

Shipment Tracking
As soon as the order has been handed over to the courier, the customer will receive an email containing the tracking number and, where available, a link through which the shipment can be tracked.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This website and all sales contracts concluded through it are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions that may apply to consumers residing in another country.

Any dispute brought by or against a consumer shall be subject to the mandatory jurisdiction of the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile, where located within Italy, in accordance with applicable law.

For disputes not involving a consumer, the Court of Cosenza shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Alternative Dispute Resolution — ADR
Without prejudice to the right to bring proceedings before the competent court, consumers may refer a dispute to an Alternative Dispute Resolution body, known as an ADR entity, included in the lists maintained by the competent authorities.
