This article explores the fusion of designer pieces from the best Italian furniture brands and creative collaborations, notably the partnership with the art design brand Ovo. Ovo has left its distinctive mark on the Hotel Windsor, with particular attention to the restaurant's mise en place and the creation of unique artworks: the "Moorish heads." These sculptures, originally from Sicily, have been customized to suit the hotel's unique atmosphere, incorporating elements that recall the culinary tradition of Liguria.

Hotel Windsor is located in Laigueglia, Liguria, in a historic building brought back to life with a style that intertwines rigor and elegance, inspired by the great masters of 20th-century Italian design.

In this context of rigorous elegance, the Ovo-designed Moorish heads become a touch of color and irony: instead of the traditional pinecones and leaves that crown Sicilian sculptures, the atelier chose to depict symbols of the Ligurian territory, such as the Albenga artichoke and the trombetta zucchini, rendered in vibrant and unexpected shades of fluorescent yellow, turquoise, and brick red, which break away from the natural palette of traditional Moorish heads.
